Exciting News: lilxlylilxly Debuts 'Butterfly' Series at NOCKNOCK ART FAIR 2024!

I am excited to announce that I will be debuting my newest series, 'Butterfly', at the NOCKNOCK ART FAIR 2024! This highly anticipated contemporary art event is the perfect platform to showcase this deeply personal project, which explores themes of memory, transformation, and connection through my unique artistic process.

The 'Butterfly' series draws from my neurodiverse perspective and blends techniques like photography, digital manipulation, and silkscreen printing. Through the use of water, glass, and natural elements, each piece in the series evolves into abstract forms, symbolizing the fading and transformation of memories over time. As with all my work, this series is deeply rooted in my exploration of how we perceive reality—encouraging viewers to question their own perspectives.

At the NOCKNOCK ART FAIR, I am thrilled to share this new body of work with an audience eager to experience the boundaries of contemporary art. This series, inspired by nature and the Attention Restoration Theory (A.R.T.), celebrates the calming, restorative effects of both art and nature, while integrating the concepts of Satcitananda, exploring truth, consciousness, and bliss.

It’s always inspiring to meet fellow artists, and previous fairs have led to exciting collaborations, including one with Nicolette Benard (see my blog post for more).
